Definition of Consumables

Items used directly or indirectly by consumers for personal, household, or industrial purposes that are intended for single-use or are consumed in the process

The item is different from the one used in the production process (consumption goods; consumer goods). Consumables are products purchased for consumption by the general public, also known as final goods. Consumables are the end result of production and manufacturing and are what consumers will ultimately see and use.
